Terms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and Certified Training Standards LLC ("CTS", "we"), a New York limited liability company, for your use of Legacy Path. By creating an account or buying access, you agree to them.
1. Education only, not advice
Legacy Path provides general financial education. It is not investment, insurance, tax, legal or financial-planning advice, and nothing in it is a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any product. CTS is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, insurance producer, law firm or accounting firm. Your family plan is produced by simple rules applied to your answers and shows topics people in similar situations commonly learn about. Laws, limits and rates change and vary by state. Talk to a licensed professional before making financial, insurance, tax or legal decisions.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- Keep your password private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
- Don't enter Social Security numbers, account numbers or other sensitive identifiers.
3. Purchase and access
Lifetime access costs a one-time $20 plus any applicable sales tax. Payment is processed by Stripe. "Lifetime" means for as long as CTS offers Legacy Path; if we ever discontinue it, we'll give at least 60 days' notice. Access is for you and your household's personal, non-commercial use and may not be shared outside your household.
4. Refunds
Refunds follow our Refund Policy: full refunds within 30 days, one refund per customer, and access ends when the refund is issued.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to copy, scrape, republish, resell or distribute Legacy Path content; share your login outside your household; attempt to get around payment or access controls; or interfere with the service's security.
6. Ownership
Legacy Path, including its text, guides, screener, design and software, belongs to CTS and its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use it under these terms.
7. Third-party services
Legacy Path links to services we don't control, such as Claude by Anthropic for "Ask AI" help and government websites. Their terms apply to your use of them, and we aren't responsible for their content.
8. Disclaimers
We work to keep Legacy Path accurate and current, but it is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent the law allows, CTS disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, CTS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for financial losses from decisions you make, and CTS's total liability for any claim relating to Legacy Path is limited to the amount you paid for it.
10. Ending access
You may stop using Legacy Path and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for violations of these terms, and we'll refund your purchase if we end access for reasons other than a violation.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Albany County, New York, unless the law of your state requires otherwise.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll post changes here and update the date above; significant changes will be announced by email or in the app. Continuing to use Legacy Path after a change means you accept it.
