Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Certified Training Standards LLC ("CTS", "we") collects when you use Legacy Path at legacy.morpheuscr.com, how we use it, and your choices. Legacy Path is part of CTS's Morpheus platform.
What we collect
- Account information: your email address and a password (stored only as a secure hash by our database provider).
- Screener answers: the answers you choose to give, recorded as categories and ranges, such as your state, age, household members' ages, an income range, and yes/no answers about insurance and estate documents. Your faith tradition is optional; it is only used to show matching funeral guides. You can choose "Prefer not to say."
- Purchase records: whether you bought lifetime access, the amount, and Stripe reference numbers. Stripe collects your card details, name and billing address directly; we never see or store your full card number.
- Basic technical data: standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and pages requested) kept by our hosting providers for security and troubleshooting.
We never ask for Social Security numbers, bank or investment account numbers, account logins, or exact balances. Please don't enter them anywhere in Legacy Path.
How we use it
- To run your account and show your family plan and guides.
- To confirm your purchase and provide access, receipts and refunds.
- To keep the service secure and fix problems.
- To improve Legacy Path using combined, non-identifying counts (for example, how many people use a topic).
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
- Service providers that run Legacy Path for us: Supabase (database and sign-in), Vercel (website hosting) and Stripe (payments, sales tax and receipts). They may only use your information to provide their services.
- AI help, only when you choose it: the "Ask AI" buttons open Claude, a separate service by Anthropic, in a new tab. The question is sent only if you open it. If you check the box to include your general profile, the question includes your age, state, children's ages and goals, never your name or email. Anthropic's own terms and privacy policy apply there.
- Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or CTS.
Cookies and storage
Legacy Path stores your sign-in session in your browser so you stay signed in. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and screener answers while your account is open. Purchase records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. When you delete your account, we delete your screener answers and plans, and keep only the purchase records we must retain.
Your choices and rights
- Retake the screener at any time to replace your answers.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete your account, by emailing us from your account's email address.
- Depending on your state, you may have additional privacy rights. We honor verified requests from any state.
Children
Legacy Path is for adults. Parents may record their children's ages to plan for them, but we don't collect children's names or contact information, and children should not create accounts.
Security
Your data is encrypted in transit, and our database only lets each account read its own records. No system is perfectly secure; if we learn of a breach affecting you, we'll notify you as the law requires.
Changes
We'll post updates here and change the date above. If a change is significant, we'll tell you by email or in the app.
